Question: When will I get my animal/fish back? Answer: It depends on when I receive your specimen ; the earlier the better. Right now, all products are returned within 9 months. Many are returned as soon as 3 months. The tannery has alot to do with the turn around time.
Question: Do you tan your own things? Answer: No. The tannery does a better job at applying a commercial tan. The hide is thinned properly allowing a good stretch for mounting. If I tanned my own hides, a large portion of my time would be spent on this task. In turn, I would not be able to accomplish any other tasks. Additionally, the extra time and labor needed to do this would greatly increase the cost.
Question: How much does a mount cost? Answer: I have set prices, however they vary from year to year do to cost increases. Call me and we will discuss the specifics of what you want and what you'll get for your money. Asking me how much a deer mount costs is like calling a dealership and asking how much a pickup truck costs?
